Pixboom Service Terms

These terms apply to Pixboom equipment submitted to CineSpec Optics for inspection, evaluation, warranty service, or non-warranty repair.

Warranty Service

Warranty service is intended for eligible manufacturing defects covered under the applicable Pixboom warranty. Selecting “Warranty Repair” does not guarantee warranty coverage; eligibility is subject to inspection and confirmation unless warranty coverage has already been confirmed by Pixboom and an RMA/reference number has been issued.

For confirmed warranty repairs, eligible repair costs and applicable warranty shipping costs are covered in accordance with Pixboom’s warranty policy.

Non-Warranty Service

Damage or conditions that are not covered by warranty—including misuse, accidental damage, transportation damage, normal wear, improper maintenance, unauthorized modification or repair, or other excluded conditions—will be treated as non-warranty service.

For non-warranty service, the customer is responsible for applicable shipping costs, parts, and labor. CineSpec Optics will provide an estimate before repair work proceeds unless otherwise authorized in writing.

Unknown Warranty Status

If “Unknown” is selected, CineSpec Optics will inspect the equipment and determine whether the reported issue appears to qualify for warranty service. If the issue is determined to be non-warranty, the customer will be notified before billable repair work proceeds, and the $75 minimum inspection charge may apply.

Shipping & Transit

Customers are responsible for securely packaging equipment for shipment. Warranty shipping coverage, when applicable, is subject to Pixboom’s warranty policy. Transportation damage is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Authorization

Submission of the Pixboom Service Form confirms that the customer has reviewed and accepted these service terms. These terms do not expand, replace, or modify Pixboom’s manufacturer warranty or other applicable manufacturer policies.
